The Canadian Pool & Spa Conference & Expo is the premier annual gathering for Canada’s aquatic leisure industry – a four-day event combining Canada’s largest pool and spa trade show with a rich conference program of education, certification, and networking.

Held each year at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre, the event brings together pool builders, spa retailers, service technicians, manufacturers, distributors, designers, and industry suppliers from across Canada and the northeastern United States.

40+ years of connecting the industry

What began as a small regional trade gathering has grown into Canada’s premier aquatic industry event, drawing thousands of professionals from across the country and northeastern USA.

Early 1980s
The beginning of a tradition
The Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada launches the Canadian Pool & Spa Conference & Expo, creating a national event that brings the industry together each year.
1990s
The expo continues to grow
The trade show expands as more manufacturers, distributors, and industry suppliers come together to showcase products, connect with customers, and build new business relationships.
2000s
Education takes centre stage
PHTCC short courses, technical seminars, and hands-on learning opportunities become a central part of the conference, supporting professionals at every stage of their careers.
2010s
A new home in Niagara Falls
The Conference & Expo moves to the Niagara Falls Convention Centre, providing a larger, modern venue to support continued growth in exhibitors, education, and attendance.
2015–2019
Hands-on learning expands
Interactive workshops and live product demonstrations are introduced, giving attendees practical, hands-on learning experiences with the latest technologies, equipment, and industry innovations.
